SSAC Timers-Voltage Monitors

SSAC timers and voltage Monitors:

These are three of SSAC's more common items:

The SSAC TRDU Series is a versatile universal time delay relay with 21 selectable single and dual functions. The dual functions replace up to three timers required to accomplish the same function. Both the function and the timing range are selectable with switches located on the face of the unit. Two LED's indicate input voltage and output status. This device offers full 10 A isolated relay output contacts in either SPDT or DPDT. The TRDU replaces hundreds of part numbers, thereby, reducing your stock inventory requirements.

The SSAC PLM Series continuously measures the voltage of each of the three phases. It separately senses Undervoltage, Voltage Unbalance (including Phase Loss), and Phase Reversal. Protection is assured during periods of large average voltage fluctuations, or when regenerated voltages are present. Both Delta and Wye systems can be monitored; no connection to neutral is required. 380 V AC and 480 V AC units are encapsulated.
Operation
The output relay is energized and the LED glows when all voltages are acceptable and the phase sequence is correct. Under and unbalanced voltages (including phase loss) must be sensed for a continuous trip delay period before the relay and the LED are de-energized. Re-energization is automatic upon correction of the fault condition. The output relay will not energize if a fault condition is sensed as power is applied.

The SSAC TDR Series of time delay relays are comprised of digital circuitry and a separate oscillator to provide high accuracy and stability. The ON and OFF delays are selected by means of ten binary switches, which allow the setting of the desired delay the first time and every time. Full 10 A isolated DPDT output contacts.
Operation
Upon application of input voltage, the output relay is energized and the ON time begins. At the end of the ON time, the output de-energizes and the OFF time begins. At the end of the OFF time, the output relay is energized and the cycle repeats as long as input voltage is applied. The OFF time may be the first delay in recycling timers. Reset: Removing input voltage resets the output and time delays, and returns the sequence to the first delay.

Overview
SSAC designs and manufactures electronic controls for original equipment manufacturers: commercial appliances, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, vending equipment, pumping equipment, elevators, etc.; for process control and automation designers; obstruction lighting control designers; and for a large group of industrial customers and service contractors. Sales representatives and stocking distributors are located throughout the world.

An ISO 9001 Company (view ISO certificate)
For more than 30 years, SSAC has achieved new levels of product, quality, and service. Our customers demand quality and they get it. SSAC was the first North American Timers and Controls Company to have an ISO 9001 Registered quality system in place. Our ISO 9001 Quality Management System monitors all aspects of the business process: from the design process to purchasing, incoming material to shipment and customer service. At SSAC we design quality into our products. All of our processes are documented for sustainability and customer satisfaction. Our goal is to make every customer completely satisfied with the best products and services through continuous improvement and employee involvement.

Time Delay Relays, Encapsulated Timing Modules, Universal Timers, Alternating Relays, Voltage Monitors, Current Sensors and Monitors, Motor Winding Monitors, Liquid Level Controls, Flashers, Tower & Obstruction Lighting Controls, and Accessories. Most of these controls are available for surface and 35 mm DIN rail mounting. The connection options: screw terminals, octal sockets or 0.25 male quick connects, provide solutions for all types of OEM equipment and custom panels.
