60 AMP Mercury Contactors from MDI

MDI 60 AMP Mercury Contactors for Industry from Anderson-Bolds

BUY MDI Mercury Contactors HERE

Description
MERCURY TO METAL CONTACTOR
The mercury relays (mercury contactors) load terminals are isolated from each other by the glass in the hermetic seal. "The plunger assembly", which includes the ceramic insulator, the magnetic sleeve and related parts, floats on the mercury pool. When the coil is powered causing a magnetic field, the plunger assembly is pulled down into the mercury pool which is in turn displaced and moved up to make contact with the electrode, closing the circuit between the top and bottom load terminal, which is connected to the stainless steel can.
To make the unit function as a "Hybrid" time delay, we add a solid state circuit to the coil to delay the power to the coil.
For constant duty applications, a return spring is used in place of the buffer spring.
Contact the factory.
The MDI 60 amp contractors come in 1,2,3 and 4 pole versions and coil voltages can be 6, 12,24,48, 120 volts DC and 24, 120, 240, 277, 480 and 600 volts AC. Normally open contractors are the most common, close on energization. Normally closed are also available. Resistive loads are the more common type of loads but the "H" designated contactors are for inductive loads (with inrush currents).

Temperature and process controllers include one or more sensor inputs with open-loop break detection and multiple outputs for control and alarms. Various configurations offer auxiliary analog inputs, automatic tuning, TRU-TUNE®+ adaptive control, and ramp and soak profiling. Output options include analog process, switched DC and mechanical, solid state and no-arc hybrid relays. Other features include countdown timer, user-customizable menu, burst fire output control, failed heater/load detection and NEMA 4X (IP65, IP66).

EZ-ZONE controllers offer additional features and options including application blocks with timers and counters, on-board data logging, SENSOR GUARD backup to protect loads should a sensor fail, AUTO CLONE™ automatic configuration backup and restore, standard bus communications, wide ambient-temperature operating range, Class I, div 2 rating, SD card expandable memory, USB connectivity and free configuration software.

The EZ-ZONE® PM panel mount controller from Watlow®
