CARLO GAVAZZI has launched the new CD34 Series liquid level capacitive sensors. The CD34 Series is designed to detect water-based liquids through non-metallic walls, i.e. plastic or glass. The sensors automatically account for the thickness of plastic or glass walls and compensate for any residual films, moisture or foam accumulation while reliably sensing the presence of the liquid to be detected. The sensor is packed with a universal bracket, which provides great mounting versatility for a variety of surfaces, circular (e.g. sight glass, round containers) or flat.

CARLO GAVAZZI has unveiled two new single phase AC DIN-rail switch mode power supply families, in housings that are among the most compact available. These new additions to Carlo Gavazzi’s extensive lineup of power supplies include features and price points that are well-suited to a wide variety of markets and applications. The SPDM Series is a general purpose family with industry standard features in the most common output configurations. These smartly priced models are available in ranges from 30W up to 240W, in 12V and 24V outputs, and in housings that are up to 30% smaller than similar types on the market. The SPDC Series offers the highest level of features and performance, in slim metal housings. They feature efficiency levels above 90%, built-in Power Factor Correction, and can provide 150% power boost for up to 3 seconds, making them ideal for applications with high inrush currents. With built-in parallel function and an output ready relay, the SPDC Series helps ensure power is always available for critical functions. These advanced models are available in 120W, 240W, and 480W output versions.

CARLO GAVAZZI unveiled the new DUB72 Series, a double under voltage monitoring relay that is approved for use in Class I Division 2 hazardous locations. This relay can be used to help prevent brownouts in 24 VDC supplied systems in any kind of application, including hazardous environments. The DUB72 features two independent set levels and outputs, which allow the use of one as a pre-alarm and the second one as an alarm. With a high powered electromechanical 20 amp relay, the second threshold / relay can be used to directly disconnect a battery or load. Its low-profile DIN housing can fit into electrical distribution panels as well as into industrial cabinets.

Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR)
Measure Level, Volume or Ullage
4–20 mA HART output option

KING-GAGE® LevelWAV guided wave level transmitter provides continuous measurement suitable over a broad range of temperatures, pressures and density variations in tanks containing liquids and solids. This radar transmitter can be used in process conditions exhibiting visible vapors, foam, surface agitation, high temperature and/or pressure.
KING-GAGE LevelWAV utilizes time domain reflectometry (TDR) technology whereby pulses of microwave energy are propagated down a waveguide (probe) extending into the tank contents. Guided wave radar works exceptionally well in tanks having internal structures while providing measured level accuracy to typically within ± 0.6 inch (± 15mm). Setup is easier, simpler and more repeatable than “through air” non-contacting radar because the probe minimizes energy dispersion so that it can even measure material having a very low dielectric value.
LevelWAV guided wave radar will detect the level of liquids, pastes, or slurries and easily lends itself to ullage (unfilled capacity) measurement. Probe length for each LevelWAV transmitter is factory calibrated based on tank depth to virtually eliminate on-site adjustment and commissioning.
Output from the LevelWAV radar transmitter can be monitored on KING-GAGE indicators and multiple tank displays enabling tank level to be represented as total volume, weight or depth of contents. Options include network connectivity including Ethernet. Each of these display options also provides excitation power (24Vdc) to the transmitter through the signal loop cable.
Application profiles:
Food/beverage • Chemical •  Water/wastewater • Marine

Guided Wave Radar
Microwave pulses are guided down the probe and reflected back by contact with the surface of the liquid. In time domain reflectometry (TDR), the time duration of the pulse and reflected response corresponds to distance traveled. KING-GAGE LevelWAV measures level from the tank top, enabling inventory monitoring and process measurements such as level or ullage. Unlike other probe technologies, LevelWAV is not affected by foaming of liquids or where the material tends to build up on surfaces.
KING-GAGE LevelWAV supports point-to-point communication using HART® to monitor measured levels, device status, output value (mA) and configuration parameters. (Also supports use with a handheld HART communicator for troubleshooting and field testing of the installed unit.)

SSAC Products

Timer-DOM 100-240VAC/DC 1A DIPsw 1-1023s 2x2

The TDU and KSDU Series are encapsulated solid- state, delay-on-make timers that combine digital timing circuitry with universal voltage operation. The TDU offers DIP switch adjustment allowing accurate selection of the time delay over the full time delay range. The KSDU is factory fixed from 0.1s to 10,230s and does not include the DIP switch. These series are excellent choices for process control systems and OEM equipment

The PLMU Series continuously measures the voltage of each of the three phases to provide protection for 3-phase motors and sensitive loads. Its microcontroller senses under and overvoltage, voltage unbalance, phase loss, and phase reversal. Protection is provided even when regenerated voltages are present. Universal voltage operation and standard base connection allows the PLMU to replace hundreds of competitive part numbers.

Liquid Level-Drain Dual 120VAC Relay Adj 8Pin

The LLC5 provides dual probe conductive liquid level control in a convenient octal plug-in package. Models are available for fixed fill or drain operation. Isolated, pulsed DC voltage on the probes prevents electrolytic plating. Less than 1 mA of current is used to sense the presence of conductive liquid between the probes and common. On adjustable units, the sensitivity adjustment eliminates false tripping caused by floating debris and foaming agents.

Flasher 120VAC 1A 75 fpm 6 inch wires

The FS100 Series (low amp) may be used to control inductive, incandescent or resistive loads. This series offers a 1A (fullwave) or a 2A (halfwave) steady state, 10A inrush solid-state output and may be ordered with an input voltage of 24 or 120VAC. The FS100 Series offers a factory fixed flash rate of 75 FPM or may be ordered with a fixed, custom flash rate ranging from 45 to 150 FPM.
